FORMER SEVILLE MAN PASSES ON

Funeral services for John H. Register, former Seville resident who died in Jacksonville yesterday were to be held in the Seville Methodist Church this afternoon. He was 42 years old.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Becky Register, and sons: Patrick, Johnnie and Jimmie of Jacksonville, Clifton and William of Seville.

Additional survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Register, one brother, T. S. Register, Jacksonville; and 5 sisters: Mrs. R. P. Brown of Jacksonville, Mrs. Carlyle Byrd, Mrs. Jamie Graham, Mrs. Shelton Loadholtz, all of Seville, and Mrs. Major Sing of DeLand.

SEVILLE - - Funeral services for John H. Register, age 31, were held at the M. E. Church in Seville, Friday afternoon with the Rev. Homer Bain, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Register died at the Duval Hospital in Jacksonville Thursday morning following a brief illness. Born December 1, 1897 in Seville, reared here and made this his home until moving to Jacksonville several years ago where he has since resided.

Besides his widow, Mrs. Mary Frances Register, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Register of Seville, 5 sons: Patrick, Clifton, William, James and John; 5 sisters: Mrs. R. P. Brown of Jacksonville, Mrs. C. A. Byrd, Mrs. S. W. Loadholtz, and Mrs. Jamie D. Graham, all of Seville and Mrs. Major Sing of DeLand, a brother, Thomas Sherman Register of Jacksonville.
Interment will be at Seville Cemetery.

Among those from out of town for the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Register and two children. Mrs. R. P. Brown, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Mary Frances Register and two children, John and James, Mrs. Douglas and Patrick Register all of Jacksonville, Mrs. J. L. Hamilton, Mrs. Henry Britt, Dr. and Mrs. D. G. Hamilton and two children, Mr. and Mrs. J. L, Hamilton, all of Daytona, Mr. and Mrs. Major Sing and two children, Mrs. Snider and daughter of Deland and Henry Barker and Mrs. Ida Gothard of San Mateo.
