LONGTIME SEVILLE RESIDENT DIES IN NURSING HOME

SEVILLE – T. E. Register, known to his friends as “Uncle Tom,” died Saturday night, Aug. 29, at a Deland Nursing Home after a long illness.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Methodist Church with Rev. W. F. Foley. Burial was in the family lot in the Seville Cemetery. Pallbearers were six of his grandsons, Pat, Cliff and Bill Register, Joe Brown, Richard Graham and Tommy Loadholtz.
Uncle Tom was 86 years of age and had lived here since the age of six. Survivors include one son, Thomas S. Register, Jacksonville; four daughters, Mrs. J. P. Brown, of Jacksonville; Mrs. Major Sing, of DeLand and Mrs. S. W. Loadholtz and Mrs. Jamie Graham of Seville; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
