C. EMORY SMITH

http://mi-cache.legacy.com/legacy/images/Cobrands/OrlandoSentinel/Images/987163-1_20090519133102_000+987163i.jpgC. Emory Smith, 90, of Orlando, passed away May 13, 2009. Mr. Smith was born on October 7, 1918 to the late Charlie and Alma Smith of Seville, Florida.

He graduated from Seville High School, and received a Business Degree from the University of Florida. He served in the US Navy for 15 years during World War II and the Korean War.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge #69 A&FM in Orlando, a life member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and a life member of the United Methodist Church in Seville. He was Co-owner and operator of Parisian Cleaners for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; two sisters: Vivian Friez and Anna Sistrunk of San Francisco, California, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home at 301 NE Ivanhoe Boulevard in Orlando on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 10AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Russell Home for Atypical Children in Orlando, Florida.
