Mrs. Earney M. Smith, 90, of Seville, died Sunday at her home.

Mrs. Smith was born in Pierce County, Ga., but had been a lifetime resident of Seville.

She was a Charter member of McGlon Pentecostal Holiness Church of Seville, and was donor of the property which is the site of the church. She served there as pianist, adult Sunday school teacher, secretary-treasurer and mother of the church.

Mrs. Smith is survived by three sons, Estes Dixon, Warner Dixon; and Merrell Smith; two daughters, Mrs. Chestine Griever and Mrs. Jewel Yelvington, all of Seville; 22 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

George A. Carpenter Funeral Home, DeLand, is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 10 p.m.

 
SMITH, EARNEY M.­ -- Funeral services for Mrs. Earney M. Smith who died Sunday, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at McGlon Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Gene Williams and Rev. Elvin Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Seville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be the grandsons: Richard Yelvington, Mack Yelvington, Gary Wells, Johnnie Dixon, Robert Smith, Ronnie Smith. Mrs. Smith will lie in state at the McGlon Pentecostal Holiness Church from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, before services.
