Roscoe Smith, 79, Seville, died Sunday at West Volusia Memorial Hospital.

He had been a Seville resident for 42 years.

Mr. Smith is survived by four sons, Willard Smith, Wildwood; James E. Smith, Seville; Roy Smith, Seville; and Ronnie Smith, Daytona Beach; two daughters, Laura B. Smith, Seville and Alma Powers, DeLand; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being made by George A. Carpenter Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
