TAYLOR - - Mrs.  Alice L.  Taylor,  86,  of  2131  Bridier  St.,  died  early  Monday  in  a  local  hospital  following  a  lingering  illness.  She  was  born  in  Myrtle  Beach,  S.C.,  and  had  lived  in  Jacksonville  tor  32  years,  moving  here,  from  Seville, Fla. She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.  

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Julian  (Sadie)  Smith,  ·of  Jacksonville,  with  whom  she  made  her  home;  a  sister,  Mrs.  C.  A.  Fleming, of Moultrie, Ga.; a brother, S.  S.  Owens; a grandson, Julian Ray Smith, and one great-grandson, Julian Craig Smith, all of Jacksonville;  

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.  Wednesday  in  the  Chapel  of  Peeples  Funeral  Home,  2220  Soutel  Dr.,  near  Lem  Turner  Rd.,  the  Rev.  Kaleel Ellison officiating, assisted by the Rev.  J.  A.  Atkin­son.  

Pallbearers will be Walter H.  Taylor,  Paul  Hight,  Ira  Hallman,  Richard  Starling  Sr.,  Clyde  Kicklighter, and Richard Starling, Jr.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. in Seville Cemetery, Seville, Fla.
