Tony D. Wells

Wells, 65, Warren, OH formerly of Seville, FL, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 15, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH due to complications from a stroke. Tony was born on Wednesday, December 29, 1943 in Seville, FL, to the late Clyde and Mariam Emily (Waters) Wells.

He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran having faithfully served during the Vietnam War. He moved to Ohio in 1966. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Kline and Tommy Wells. Tony retired from the General Motors Lordstown Assembly Plant, where he had been an assembler for 28 years. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose, Trumbull Lodge 186. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf, and gardening, most of all; he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his life partner, Evone Crosby Wells; a son, Ron (Diane) Wells, Lake Orion, MI; daughter, Cindy (Rick) Radich, Cortland; four grandchildren: Adam Wells, and Sam, Michaella, and Jordan Radich; two brothers, Ronnie Wells, Lordstown, and Mike Wells, Seville, FL; and a sister, Elaine (Brian) Cunningham, Port Orange, FL.

Calling hours will be Sunday, December 20, 2009 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel, 720 U.S. Hwy. 17 S., in San Mateo, Florida. Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Seville Cemetery in Seville, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Humility of Mary-Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, OH 44512.

Local arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., San Mateo, Florida. Ohio arrangements were entrusted to the care of Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren, Ohio
