Mr. J. F. Wiley of Seville died Thursday morning suddenly. He had been ailing a few days but the evening before had been downtown talking with friends.

But at 12 that night he was stricken with paralysis and never gained speech afterward. Dr. Roberts pronounced it paralysis of the brain.

Services were conducted by Rev. M. Cate, Baptist minister from the residence on Friday with his remains interred at Seville Cemetery.

He had just completed a nice little home.

He leaves a wife, two grown sons and three small daughters.

JOHN F WILEY DEAD

John F Wiley died at his home in Seville, Fla., Thursday, Apr 8th after a brief illness. Mr. Wiley's sudden and untimely death was due to a stroke of paralysis. The remains were buried at Seville on Saturday. Mr. John J Carter, an uncle of the deceased, went down to attend the funeral and burial.

Mr. Wiley moved to Seville from Appling County about fifteen months ago. He was engaged in the turpentine business with J M (James Monroe) Deen and others prior to his death. He is survived by his wife and five children.
