SEVILLE -- Neva C. Woodard, 98, of Lake George Road, former owner/operator of Woodard's Cafe, died Sunday at home. 

Mrs. Woodard moved to this area in 1943 from her native Four Oaks, N.C. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and making quilts. 

Survivors include a son, J.R. Strickland, Clayton, N.C.; three daughters, Ruby S. Bailey, Selma, N.C., Joyce W. Martin, Seville, and June W. Zimmerman, Alabama; two brothers, J.W. Creech, Norfolk, Va., and W.N. Creech, Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Floy C. Smith, Newport News, Va.; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
