ORMOND BEACH -- Susana "Susie" C. Abbott, 87, a resident since 1953, died Sunday at Ormond in the Pines. Mrs. Abbott, a homemaker, was born in the Republic of Panama and moved to this area from Bocas del Toro, Panama. She was a member of Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church. She was a volunteer with the Council on Aging Wickline Meal Site.
Survivors include four sons, Dale and Jack Jr., both of Ormond Beach, Robert, Bunnell, and Michael, Winter Park; a daughter, Sandy Pijot, Ormond Beach; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Flagler County Community Services-Wickline Meal Site, 1000 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164.

Susana "Susie" Abbott, 87, died in Ormond Beach on Sunday, August 5, 2007. She was born April 16, 1920, in Bocas del Toro, Republic of Panama, to the late Len Chong and Catherine Howard Chong.
Predeceased by her husband, Jack Abbott, Sr., and daughter, Betty R. Coleman, she was a resident of Flagler Beach for 53 years.
Susie, a homemaker, was an active volunteer with the Wickline Meal Site for over 20 years prior to moving to Ormond Beach to be closer to her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandy Pijot, Ormond Beach; four sons, Dale Abbott, Ormond Beach, Jack Abbott Jr., Ormond Beach, Michael Abbott, Winter Park, and Robert "Bob" Abbott, Bunnell; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Susie's Life will be announced at a later date. Interment will be private.
