ORMOND BEACH - Genevieve Jinx Balewski, 74, of Center Street, a merchandise buyer in Pittsburgh and Daytona Beach before her retirement, died Saturday at Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial. 

Mrs. Balewski came here in 1960 from her native Pittsburgh. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Daytona Beach. She enjoyed bingo, model railroads and fishing. 

Survivors include a son, Larry, Ormond Beach; a daughter, Antoinette Zollars, Roswell, Ga.; a brother, Stanley Bodzenski, Pittsburgh; a sister, Theresa Cipkalla, Monroeville, Pa.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
