PALM COAST -- Manuel Buenaventura, 75, of Persimmon Drive, who retired in 1989 from Resurrection Hospital, Chicago, died Wednesday at Florida Hospital-Flagler. 

Mr. Buenaventura moved here in 1996 from Chicago. He was a member of the Philippine American Association of Palm Coast and the Marinduque Association and Mindoro Filipino Club, both in Chicago. He was a civil engineering graduate of Mapua Institute of Technology. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and cooking. 

Survivors include his wife, Petra; a brother, Carlos; and a sister, Ester Sales.
