BUNNELL - James Buono, 87, of U.S. 1, the owner of Jim's Auto Sales, died Tuesday at Pineapple Palm House.

Mr. Buono, an Army veteran of World War II, moved to this area in 1941 from his native Detroit.
Survivors include five sons, Jimmy and Terry, both of Bunnell, and Bernard, Butch and Joe, all of Bunnell; two stepsons, Dennis and Leonard, both of Bunnell; several grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.

BUONO – JAMES – Graveside services celebrating the life of James Buono, 87, Bunnell, who died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, at Pineapple Palm House of Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Counties, will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mr. Buono was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area 65 years ago from there. He owned Jim's Auto Sales in Bunnell. Jim was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his sons, Bernard, Butch and Joe, all of Georgia; Jimmy and Jerry, both of Bunnell; stepsons, Dennis and Leonard, both of Bunnell; several grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Donations may be made in Mr. Buono's memory to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Counties, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.

The family of Mr. Buono entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
