A Funeral Mass for Stella Chmielarski, 90, who passed away peacefully on May 27, 2012, will be held Friday, June 1st at 10:00am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Zamborsky officiating.

Her family will receive friends at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond on Thursday, May 31st from 5:00-7:00pm.

Stella was born on November 25, 1921 in Niagara Falls, NY. She met and married Joseph (Joe) and together they raised a family and owned their own family businesses. She and her husband were hard workers and together they owned and operated a grocery store in North Tonawanda, NY then moved to Hollywood, FL where they owned and operated a hotel.

Together they worked diligently to provide for their family. Stella was also devoted to her Catholic faith her entire life, often attending mass daily. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church prior to relocating to Ormond Beach to live with her son, and then became a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.

Stella is survived by her son James (Jim) Chmielarski DMD (Linda), and was preceded in death by her sons Joseph (Joe) and Paul. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Joseph.

Left to cherish her memory in addition to her son Jim are a sister Anna Wonton of Niagara Falls, NY, her eight grandchildren Mark, Scott, Mike, Kristin, Heidi, Nick, Sandy, and Christy and her 11 Great Grandchildren.

Her family requests memorial donations be made in Stella's memory to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.

Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
