Luis F. Corte-Real, age 67, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Delano, TN and New Bedford, MA, passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2021.

An intimate grave side service will be held on April 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 21 Cemetery Road, Bunnell, Flagler County, FL  32110.

Luis was born in Sao Miguel, Azores Islands, Portugal on November 28, 1953.  He married the love of his life, Lidia, on September 13, 1999.  They were married for 22 beautiful years.

Luis worked as a general contractor for American Building Services LLC where he was the co-owner. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and most of all, serving the Lord.

Luis is survived by his wife, Lidia; his daughters, Lynn Langford, Tania (Matt) Frech, and Pamela (Joe) Campbell; son, Christopher (Shelly) Corte-Real; and grandchildren, Caleb, Micah, Khylie, & Jaden Langford, Zachary Corte-Real, and Peyton & Hope Halsey.

Luis is survived by his brothers and sisters, Joana Faustino, Filomena Matos, Michael Corte-Real, Maria Pia Knoebler, Duarte Corte-Real, Tina Travassos, and Vasco Corte-Real; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful four-legged companion Sheba.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to New Way Church of Palm Coast, 293 Old Moody Blvd, Palm Coast, FL 32164 as they have been a huge blessing to Lidia and Luis since their arrival to Palm Coast.

The Corte-Real family has entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
