A Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Antonio Fernandez, 87, who passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. in the memorial room at the church. Interment will take place at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Korona immediately following the Mass.

Antonio was born in Cuba and worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the Newark, New Jersey Sea Port. He moved to this area in 1994 from Newark, NJ. He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Hispanic Club of Palm Coast. Antonio enjoyed carpentry, gardening, fishing and reading.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Herminia, daughters Ileana Mena and her husband Ceasar of Elizabeth, NJ. Maria Del Carmen Salza and her husband Omar Zuleta of Palm Coast, brother Pedro Fernandez of Palm Coast, sister Esther Fernandez of Cuba, grandchildren Evan, Attillio, Julian, Fabio, Katherine, Nicolas and Andrew. Antonio was predeceased by his son Antonio Fernandez.

The family of Mr. Fernandez entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
