Herbert Fuller, 75, 2711 N. Halifax Ave., Daytona Beach, died Tuesday, April 26 after an extended illness. He was born in Warwick, N.Y. and moved to Flagler Beach in 1960, before moving to Daytona Beach in 1971.
He was Mayor of Flagler Beach from 1963 to 1967, and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy, and retired after 22 years of service as a Veteran's Administration Clerk. He was a member of the D.A.V. Jim Booe Chapter 86 and VFW Post 5213.
Survivors include his widow, Aileen; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Quakenbush, Sarasota, Mrs. Helen Osbourn, Warwick N.Y.; and Mrs. Louis McKeever, Flagler Beach.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Craig Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Wm. Brackman Jr., pastor of the Ormond Beach First United Methodist officiating. Interment was at St. Mary's Cemetery, Korona. Mr. Fuller was a member of the Ormond Beach First United Methodist Church
