PALM COAST -- Augustine F. (Gus) Guerin, 62, of Bruning Lane, the owner and operator of Gus' Deli before his retirement, died Wednesday at home. 

Mr. Guerin, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, was born in New York City and moved to this area six years ago from Flushing, N.Y. He was also a former detective for the New York City Police Department. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marian; a son, Austin F., Palm Coast; four daughters, Patricia DiRico, Flushing, and Peggy McGriskin, Debbie Alexanderson, and Donna Masiello, all of Palm Coast; two brothers, Lawrence, Holbrook, N.Y., and Michael, Flushing; four sisters, Jo Gergely, Centereach, N.Y., Mary Ann Cilia, Whitestone, N.Y., Fran Myers, Flushing, and Helen Kroner, New Hyde Park, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale St., Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
