PALM COAST - Joseph Hennessy, 100, of Carr Lane, the retired owner of Hennessy's Tavern, Upper Darby, Pa., died Sunday at Willow Crest Rehabilitation Center, Darby. 

Mr. Hennessy was born in Philadelphia, and moved to this area in 1973 from Havertown, Pa. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Eleanor; two daughters, Helen Kushmider, Allentown, Pa., and Eleanor Trench, Darby; 10 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
