PALM COAST – Frank A. Hlava, 75, of Cole Place, a native of Lake Wood, Ohio, died Monday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.
Mr. Hlava, an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving as corporal and worked in artillery, moved here in 2001from Bay Village, Ohio. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Korona. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and football.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years; Marilyn; a son, Mark, Palm Coast; two daughters, Nina Hlava, Palm Coast, and Christy Brown, Waynesville, Ga.; two brothers, Bobby, Avon Lake, Ohio, and Jetty, Corbin, Ky.; four sisters, Aggie, Lakewood, Helen, Cleveland; Mary Ann, Medina, Ohio, and Ruthie, Jefferson, Ohio; and a grandchild.
