Thursday, August 13, 1970Stanley Kostanski, 74, Mound Grove, passed away Sunday after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Poland and moved to Mound Grove 7 years ago from Hammond, Indiana. He was a World War I veteran and was a member of American Legion Post 330 of Calumet City, Ill. He was the step-father of the late Edward and Helen Gorecki.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday morning at 9:00 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Korona. Monsignor Bayer will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine; a step-daughter, Mrs. Sophie Gorecki, Calumet, City, Ill.; 2 stepsons, Frank Nalepa, Hammond, Ind., and Edward Nalepa, Washington, D. C. Several nephews and a niece also survive.
