Rose Ludwig, 90, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 9, 2006 at her home in Palm Coast.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2006 with the Rev. Sebastian Kaithamattom as celebrant.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2006 in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast; a Vigil Service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Mary's Cemetery in Korona.
Rose was born October 7, 1916 in Hoboken, N.J. to the late Vincenzo & Angelina Stanziale. She was a seamstress and avid bowler. Rose came to Palm Coast from New Jersey 26 years ago. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and a former volunteer, along with her husband, at Buddy Taylor Middle School. Rose was also a former member of the Rosary Society at St. Paul of the Cross parish in Jersey City, N.J.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Charles Ludwig; and a son, Paul Ludwig.
She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Tina Marino, Palm Coast; son, Edward Charles Ludwig II, Jupiter, Fla.; grandchildren, Louis, Vincenzo, Edward IV, Renee and Joanna; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Angelo Stanziale, Iselin, N.J.
Memorial donations may be made in Rose's memory to Hospice of the Palm Coast, 149 S. Ridgewood Ave., Ste. 400, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
