PALM COAST -- Joseph R. Negran, 83, of Ferguson Court, a retired construction engineer, died Tuesday at a local assisted living facility. 

Mr. Negran was born in Indiana and came here 18 years ago from Manville, N.J. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the local Elks Club. 

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Anna; two sons, Richard, Bellemead, N.J., and Dennis, Petaluma, Calif.; a sister, Margaret Kell, Phoenix; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange 32119 or to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church School, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast 32164.
