Ted Novak, 61, Marineland, dried unexpectedly Saturday morning at Atlanta, Ga. He suffered a heart attack while visiting in Atlanta.

He was born in Warsaw, Poland and moved to Marineland four years, ago from Mountainview, N. J. He owned and operated the Pelican Beach Motel at Marineland. He was a veteran of WWII and a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church, Bunnell.

Survivors include his wife, Anna; his mother, Mrs. Jean Novak; and a brother, Stanley Novak, all of Marineland.

Funeral mass was at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday at St. Stephens Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Antonio Leon officiating. Interment was at St. Mary’s Church Cemetery, Korona.

Pallbearers were Gerald Schatz, Chester Trancynger, Lee Drazba, Ernest Fisher, Richard Stuckey and Coley Mitchell.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge.
