PALM COAST - James T. O'Connor, 80, of Southbury Court, a former postal employee, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital-Flagler, Bunnell. 

Mr. O'Connor, an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, was born in Norwalk, Conn., and moved to this area 17 years ago from his birthplace. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, the Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Italian American Club and the Irish Social Club. 

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Helen; two sons, James Jr., St. Paul, Minn., Richard, Reno, Nev., and Michael, New Bern, N.C.; a sister, Gertrude Coty, Norwalk, Conn.; and five grandchildren.
