William Oliver Olafson

William Oliver Olafson, 89, of Palm Coast, FL, died February 2, 2023. He was born in Fords, NJ on March 7, 1933 to Oliver and Agnes (nee Nelson) Olafson.

After high school, Bill honorably served in the Air Force. He married the love his life, Carol, and used his technical skills to rise through the ranks as a Quality Control Manager with Westinghouse Electrolux.

In their spare time, Carol and Bill loved sailing, and were lucky enough to be able to spent years living on their boat "Bicaro" (a playful combination of their first names) and enjoying incredible adventures on the water.

Bill was predeceased by his parents and wife Carol.

He is survived by his sisters Doris and Carol, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly.

On Thursday, February 9, 2023, a 10am public viewing and 11am funeral mass will be held in his honor at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164. Following the funeral mass, he will be buried with military honors in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bunnell, FL.
