Funeral mass for Phyllis Possidente, 82, will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 11:00 A.M at Santa Maria Del Mar, followed by a committal service at St. Mary's Cemetery in Korona.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Vito. They enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 57 years.

Her family will be receiving friends at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 2:00 P.M to 4:00P.M and 6:00P.M to 8:00 P.M and Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 2:00 P.M to 4:00 P.M and 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Possidente passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson, New York on Monday, January 9, 2012. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also worked outside the home for many years. Phyllis was a past member of the Italian American Club. She enjoyed traveling out west and up north to visit with her grandchildren and great-grandson. She also enjoyed playing her hand held video games and was an avid game show fan.

Phyllis is survived by her two daughters, Christine (Joe) Bilello of Vero Beach, FL, and Carol (John) Edwards of Ronkonkoma, N.Y. Phyllis will be sadly missed by her grandsons, Michael (Cindy) Edwards, and Matthew and Brian Edwards, and her great-grandson Brandon.

Arrangements are under the entrusted care of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
