William K. Shropshire, 57, 109 S. Fifth St., Flagler Beach, passed away Friday, December 21, at the Veterans Hospital, Gainesville. He was born in Chester, Pennsylvania, and moved to Flagler Beach twenty years ago. He was a veteran of World War II, United States Army, a member of the American Legion, and V.F.W., and was also a member of the Santa Maria Del Mar, Catholic Church, Flagler Beach.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred, Flagler Beach.; and his father, Leven C. Shropshire, St. Petersburg. Funeral Services were held at 10 a. m. at the Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church, Flagler Beach, with Father O’Brien, from Daytona Beach, officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Korona.

Active pall bearers were, Stanley Germack, Wally Gibbons, Max Davids, Floyd Hurl, Walt Eberhardinger and James Kment. Honorary pallbearers were Lee Drazba, Jack Petit, Ralph Harbert, and Bob Whitney. Craig Funeral Home was in charge.
