Thursday, November 11, 1971Ferne M. Whateley, 81, North US Highway 1, Bunnell, died Monday, November 1 at Bunnell General Hospital.
A native of Beaver Falls, Pa., she moved to Bunnell 20 years ago from Seaside, N.J. She was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ferne Carmody, Flagler Beach; and a grandson.
Funeral Mass was Wednesday morning at 10:00 in St. Stephens Catholic Church, Bunnell, with the Rev. Father Antonio Leon officiating. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery at Korona.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Fields, Charles Wendlandt; Floyd Hurl, Walt Eberhardinger, Willie Harrison and Lew Wellwood.
Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge.
