Ralph C. Jackson, age 94, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. He was born on September 6, 1928 in Jamaica, West Indies. He attended Kingston Technical School where he earned a certificate in automobile engineering from the London City and Gills University in London, England.

He came to the United States of America in 1952 and lived in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. He served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. Ralph married Verna Coggins in 1955 and together they had two sons.

He worked for the New York City Transit Authority from 1968 to 1988 where he started out as a maintainer for a few years then moved on to being a maintenance supervisor (cars and shops). Ralph retired and moved to Palm Coast, Florida in 1989.

He was preceded in death by his son, Wilfred. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Verna Jackson; son, Vincent Jackson; sister, Valda Barnes; grandson, Andrew Jackson; great-grandchildren, Elyza & Evan Jackson.
