Inurnment will take place at the columbarium of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.

Sally was born on May 22, 1933 in Buffalo, NY to Charles A. Ingraham and Ruth Rope Ingraham. Sally graduated from St. Mary's Catholic Academy Girls school in Alexandria, VA in 1951, co-top of the class. She attended Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA 1951-52. She was a straight "A" student in all subjects, reading was her hobby, she read 3-5 books per week.

She married William McPherson McGill III on September 12, 1952, the day after the wedding Bill left for engineering school at Purdue University; Sally got her "Mrs." Degree helping Bill get his BSEE degree in 1956. She followed Bill's Engineering career at Dupont in Aiken, SC, and then at G.E. Co, in Roanoke, VA for 11 years. While in Roanoke, she was president of the Brambelton Jr. Woman's Club, she was associated with Trinity Episcopal Church, Tippins Machinery Co. in Pittsburg, PA; A&F Electric Motor Repair, INC in Miami, FL (destroyed in the May 18, 1980 Riots over the Arthur McDuffle Affair-losing $2.5 MM in a matter of hours.)

Sally became CFO of Pass Painting, INC in Miami while raising three daughters, Bill was a free-lance Engineer and she wanted to follow him in his overseas work, but it was never known when the projects would end up (Chief Corp Electrical Engineer USX Corp.) So much to her chagrin she stayed in Miami as Pass Painting CFO.

Sally retired and moved to Palm Coast, FL on March 26, 1999. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and Daughters of the King.

Sally is survived by her husband of 63 years, William; daughters, Deborah Marinello and her husband, John, Jackie McHaffie and her husband, Tom, Molly Meyerholz and her husband, Larry; grandchildren, John Marinello III, James McPherson Clark, Christofer Marinello, Justin David Clark, Meredith McHaffie Russell, Matthew McHaffie, Mark McHaffie and 16 great grandchildren, all of whom she adored. Also surviving is her sister, Elisebeth Winston Yaffa of Armonk, NY.

Sally was very smart and intellectual, she always thought through problems very well. We met at 15 and 16 years old, married at 19. It took a while before I realized how smart and intelligent she was. No matter how much trouble I got myself into, she was always with me not wagging her finger saying, "I told you so." She would give me a good STARE, but she let me figure it out, she kept me on an even keel. I will miss those beautiful blue eyes looking at me from across the table every morning, I loved her beyond comprehension.

The family of Mrs. McGill entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
