Helen M Timoney

Helen M. Timoney, age 92, was called to the Lord on May 22, 2020. She is now joined in Heaven with her husband William, deceased in 2015, after 69 years of marriage.

Together they raised two children, Jeanne Kiley and Stephen Timoney and spouse Susan. Helen had four grandchildren: Deborah, Brian, Raymond and Douglas (deceased); 5 great-grandchildren: Tyler, Caleb, Patrick, Luke and Hailey.

She and William moved from Massapequa, Long Island to Palm Coast in 1984.

Helen worked for the Alumni Association at the State University of New York in Farmingdale, Long Island as Executive Secretary for 21 years, when she retired in 1984.

Helen was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, member of the choir, past President of Episcopal Church Women, Vice President of Church Women United and strong supporter of the Resource Center in Bunnell.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks, chair of the Sunshine Committee and past President of the Auxiliary. She was also a member of RSVP, where she volunteered at the Giving Store and was awarded a pin for 24 years of service. She was also a member of the Community Chorus of Palm Coast.

A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church at a later date. Internment of ashes directly following the service in the columbarium at the Church.
