A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Robert Glenn Bentley, 58 of Goldthwaite TX will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 9:30 AM in the Community Baptist Church, 956 S. Old Dixie Highway, Bunnell FL.   Burial will follow for family members attending in the Strickland Family Cemetery, Korona FL.

Mr. Bentley, a former resident of Haines City FL, passed away on December 31, 2014 at his residence.  He was born on December 20, 1956 in Miami FL a son of Claudia Ruth Glass Balogh of Boca Grande FL and the late William Lee Bentley. 

Mr. Bentley was a horse trainer, rancher, and was previously a professional jockey for 25 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Goldthwaite TX.  

He is survived by his wife of over 31 years, Marcy Strickland Bentley, his sons, Clint Bentley and his wife Rachel of Dallas TX and Heath Bentley of San Marcos TX, his daughter, Sara Bentley of Austin TX, his mother, Ruth Balogh of Boca Grande FL, his brothers, Bill Bentley of Winter Park FL, and Keith Bentley of Avon Park FL and his sister Claudia Degroot of Boca Grande FL.
